    In a shocking incident, a 14-year-old school boy from Dombivli suffered an heart attack while playing in school and fell unconcious on the ground.The boy was then brought to the nearby  hospital by school authorities.The Chief Cardiologist Dr,Deepak Shinde attended to the boy immediately and found that he was having massive heart attack.Dr.Deepak Shinde suggested to have an immediate operation of the boy i.e angioplasty where he had 20% chance of being successful.

    Dr.Deepak Shinde explaiined his parents about the emergency of the boy who need to be operated immediately.The parents however agreed for operation and the boy was operated  under the Chief Cardiologist Dr.Deepak Shinde and was successfuly saved.

    The boy was having such a massive heart attack in which the person may even die.Because Dr,Deepak Shinde an interventional cardiologist treated him on the right time by taking right decision of doing angioplasty saved this 14-year-old boy’s life and also showed recovery.

    There was a 24yr old boy who came with abnormal ECG,found out in routine health check up done in private company.Then he was told to have heart attack and was rushed to check up as he has no chest symptomps.On examination doctor found to have him murmur.He was advised 2D Echo cardiography which confirmed he having aortic valve leakage and mild left heart enlargement.Hewas advised to be on medicines and was called in for regular 2D Echo checks every yearly.The aortic valve leakage was due to congenital bicuspid aortic valve.

    A 25 years old girl was seen by Dr.Shinde as she was advised to undergo Bypass operation on her physical examination.Doctors found out murmur.Further doctor did 2D Echo cardiography which showed dialated aortic root and severe leakage of aortic valve.Patient needed three major cardiac surgeries at one time.1.Bypass operation 2.Aortic valve replacement  3.Aortic valve replacement .These operation were done by Dr.Hemant pathare and his team at Kohinoor hospital.Surgery lasted for nearly 8-9 hrs and patient gain complete recovery in cardiac function.She has been doing well for last 5 years.She is now married and living a normal  healthy life.

    When Dr.Deepak Shinde was walking on the platform early in morning.He saw a girl lying on the platform and her friend sprinkling water on her face thinking she was fainted.Out of curiosity he checked her.She had no pulse,her breathing had stopped and she was not responding.Concluding she had cardiac arrest he started doing cardiac massage.With the help of coolie she was lifted to police van which could take them to nearby hospital.While being in the ambulance he continued to do give cardiac massage.After reaching the hospital in span of five minutes she was immediately given DC shock and gave her intavenous adrenaline and put the patient on ventilator.Over next one week patient was hemodynamically stabel and re-attained her conciousness fully.She was found to have hypertrophic cardiomyopathy as a cause of cardiac arrest and was later underwent AICD (automatic device which can give direct shock and prevent cardiac arrest)

    A 55 years old female was referred for breathlessness since days to Anjana Heart Clinic.
    Our Examination
    2D Echo showed pulmonary hypertension patient was advised-CBC,Electrolytes,SGOT,SGPT CT pulmonary angiography and both lower limb Doppler study.
    The Complete CBC (Complete CBC Count) showed following picture-

    WBC-8000/cmm
    MCV-84.2
    MCH-27.6
    MCHC-32.8
    RBC-5.07
    On peripheral smear the RBC were normocytic normochromic WBCs showed lymphocytosis with few lymphocytes showing cytoplasmic projections. Platetes were adequate on smear.In view of abnormal lymphocytes,bone marrow examination was advised to rule out a lymphoproliferative disorder.
